Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has dissolved the State Executive Council, a move that takes immediate effect
All commissioners and special advisers have been instructed to hand over responsibilities to the permanent secretaries or the most senior officers in their ministries.
Governor Fubara expressed appreciation to the outgoing council members for their service and wished them success in their future pursuits.
The announcement was made on Thursday in a statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Onwuka Nzeshi.
