The entertainer, who was fondly called the “General Overseer of Sinners Chapel” or the “G.O of Saint Bottles Cathedral,” reportedly passed away in the early hours of Sunday, August 2, 2026, after a brief illness.
News of her de.ath was confirmed by publisher and socialite Femi Davies, who announced the sad development on his social media platforms.
Saint Janet built a unique reputation in the music scene by combining gospel-inspired introductions with bold Juju and highlife songs that featured adult-themed lyrics, earning her a loyal underground fan base.
She was also known for albums such as Faaji Plus and 5G Plus, projects that stirred conversations for their unconventional style while cementing her place in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
