The sacked media aide to Kano State Governor, Salihu Tanko-Yakassai who was arrested after he criticized President Buhari over another kidnapping of students in the country has been released.
Recall the Department of State Services (DSS) had picked him up after the tweets in which he made the criticism went viral.
Now Omojuwa, who has been part of the influencers calling for his release on social media with the hashtag — #FreeDawisu has just announced his release.
Omojuwa wrote; ”Our man @dawisu has been released by the Nigerian secret police. No ransom was paid! Smiling face with sunglasses #FreeDawisu”
