Justin Bieber‘s seemingly strained relationship with his mother took a surprising turn this week when he appeared to rudely brush off her concerns on social media

Two weeks earlier, Bieber’s mother, Pattie Mallette, shared a heartfelt prayer for her son amid his musical comeback after he took a break from touring to prioritize his health.
But in a reply from Sunday, October 5, Bieber said he didn’t need any ‘healing’ in a clipped response.
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Bieber to request comment but hasn’t yet received a response.
He was responding to Mallette’s post from September 22, in which the 50-year-old posted a series of black-and-white images of Bieber, 31, alongside a moving caption in which she wrote, ‘We’re cheering you on and praying for you always Justin.’
In the lengthy prayer, Mallette wrote: ‘I declare freedom, strength, clarity, and healing over you Justin. Every chain of fear, confusion, heaviness, and pain — be broken in Jesus’ name. Holy Spirit, surround him with TRUTH, LIGHT, and PROTECTION. HEAL EVERY WOUND in his heart, mind and body, seen and unseen, restore what’s been stolen, and cover him in WHOLENESS.’

She continued, asking for her son to be filled with ‘love and comfort’ and for his life to become a testimony of God’s power: ‘Fill him to OVERFLOWING with Your LOVE and COMFORT. Continue to raise him up as a voice for Your Kingdom, unshaken and on fire for You Lord. Silence every voice that doesn’t come from You, and let his life be a bold witness of Your power, love, and healing grace.’
The post, which featured a photo of Bieber wearing a shirt that read ‘Pray for Me’, drew thousands of supportive comments from fans and fellow believers alike.
In a delayed comment, Bieber wrote: ‘Only thing I need healing from is my rolled pinky toe from playing ping pong.’

His dismissive post comes after his fans expressed concern about his marriage to Hailey Bieber and his mental health for months amid a string of concerning public appearances and bizarre social media posts.
However, much of the concern appeared to evaporate following the release of his hit album Swag, as well as a surprise follow-up LP, though Bieber’s social media posts haven’t changed significantly since then.
In response to Mallette’s original prayer, one user wrote, ‘Amen Pattie, remind him for me we are going through this together, and God’s plan will always ultimately prevail,’ while another added, ‘This man saved me… and I’m willing to do ANYTHING to pay the debt #BelieberForever.’

Others reassured concerned fans that nothing was ‘wrong’ with Bieber, with one comment noting: ‘It’s just a mother’s prayer.’
The Grammy-winning singer has been open about his struggles with fame, mental health, and physical illness in recent years, including being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome in 2022, which caused partial facial paralysis.
