Juventus have officially sacked head coach Thiago Motta following a string of poor results
The club announced that former Juventus defender Igor Tudor will take over, with his first training session scheduled for Monday, March 24.
Motta, who was appointed in June 2024, lasted only eight months in charge. During his tenure, Juventus suffered heavy defeats to Fiorentina and Atalanta, dropping to fifth place in Serie A, 12 points behind league leaders Inter Milan. The team also crashed out of both the Champions League and Coppa Italia.
Tudor, who previously managed Udinese, Hellas Verona, and Lazio, returns to Juventus, where he once served as an assistant coach. His immediate task will be to stabilize the squad and secure a Champions League spot for next season.
