Reality TV star Ka3na blasts celebrities who fake baby bumps instead of being honest about their motherhood journeys

In an Instagram post, she advocated for openness about using surrogacy, describing it as a valid and powerful choice.
Ka3na emphasized that there’s nothing shameful about surrogacy and encouraged public figures to use their platforms to share truthful information that helps others, rather than deceiving fans with fake pregnancies.
She shared her own experience with a traumatic pregnancy, stating that if she were to have another child, she would consider surrogacy.
She wrote: “Dear Nigerian Public Figures (especially women), we are privileged to be more informed, more exposed, and better travelled. With that comes the responsibility to be honest with our followers.
“There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a baby through a surrogate. The child is 100% yours. So why deceive your fans by pretending to be pregnant?
“Take me for example: I had a traumatic pregnancy that left me with a deep fear of going through it again. If I ever choose to have another child, I hope to go through surrogacy. And there’s nothing shameful about that. We have platforms. We have influence. Let’s use them to share truth that helps, not just images that perform. And for the record, many of us mothers can see through the act. You’re not pregnant, and that’s okay. But the lie? It’s unnecessary”,
