Kai Havertz is reportedly out for the rest of the season after suffering an injury during Arsenal’s mid-season trip to Dubai

The German forward has been a key player for the Gunners this season, scoring 15 goals across all competitions. Arsenal are in a fierce Premier League title race with Liverpool and have already secured a spot in the Champions League last-16 after finishing third in the initial group phase.
However, their title hopes have taken a major hit, with The Athletic reporting that Havertz has suffered a serious hamstring tear. Surgery remains a possibility, but even if he avoids an operation, his focus is now on returning for the start of the 2025/26 season—still six months away.
The news follows Arsenal’s decision to forgo signing a striker in the January transfer window despite injury concerns in attack. Bukayo Saka has been sidelined since mid-December with a hamstring issue and isn’t expected back until March. Gabriel Martinelli also picked up a similar injury in the recent second-leg defeat to Newcastle United, while Gabriel Jesus has already been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.
