The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested 22 people, including the manager of Stephrica Guest Palace in Kureken Sani, Kumbotso Local Government Area, over alleged immoral activities
The raid, conducted on Wednesday, followed intelligence reports that prompted the board to investigate the hotel.

In a message, Deputy Commandant Dr. Mujahid Aminudeen confirmed that the suspects included 10 males and 11 females.
He said the operation was based on credible tips from residents who reported that individuals at the hotel were engaging in activities considered immoral.
“Regrettably, most of the 21 occupants are teenagers, aged between 12 and 19 years. We are using this opportunity to warn hotel owners against allowing underage persons access to their facilities or face sanctions,” Aminudeen stated.
He emphasized that the board will continue enforcing moral standards under Shari’a law and urged residents to provide useful information to authorities.
Aminudeen added that the identities of the suspects, including the hotel manager, would be revealed after legal processes are completed, and that they will face charges in court upon the conclusion of investigations.
