Kanye West and Kim Kardashian caught in tense stand-off in front of daughter Chicago

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian reportedly had a “stare-down” while attending their son Saint West’s basketball game in Los Angeles this week.

The former couple were spotted exchanging words through a black net while Kanye sat down with their daughter Chicago, six, while Kim appeared tense in a black baseball cap and a white tank top. Though a downtrodden Chicago stared ahead at the pitch, her parents were clearly having a tense discussion.

Later, both Kim and Kanye sat down to watch the game – but left two empty chairs between them. Whenever their attention wasn’t on the game, the exes looked down at their phones and didn’t speak to each other. But both Kim, 43, and Kanye, 46, showed up to support Saint, eight, at his game.

The tension seems to have been increasing between Kimye ever since Kanye married his new wife Bianca Censori – with some fans accusing Kanye of “transforming” his new love into his ex-wife. One insider claimed to Star Magazine that the rapper is “still obsessed” with Kim.

The source claimed: “Kanye clearly set out to clone Kim, which disgusts her, but the truth is, it also fascinates her in a morbid way. It’s just so creepy. It’s like he’s turned Bianca into his personal robot. With the added indignity that she’s paraded around half-naked all the time!”

Kim and Kanye originally met through musician Brandy, who was a close friend to Kim. Kim recalled to Ryan Seacrest of the start of their romance: “He was recording a song with Brandy, and I was her friend. I vividly remember hanging out with him, and then they did a video together, so I’d see him a few times.”

They announced their romance in 2011 and married in 2014 in a stunning ceremony in Florence, Italy. But by February 2021, the pair had called it quits and Kim filed for divorce.

The pair share four children together – North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm. Now new rumours are abounding that Kanye is expecting a baby with Bianca, after admitting in a song that another child is his “end goal”.
