Actress Kate Henshaw has responded strongly to a social media user who attempted to shame her by bringing up her past relationship with the late gospel singer Sammie Okposo

The troll shared an old interview screenshot on X (formerly Twitter), in which Kate had opened up about enduring physical abuse during her relationship with Sammie.
The two were reportedly together for about three to four years in the early 2000s, and many had speculated at the time that they might eventually get married. However, the relationship ended, and both parties went their separate ways.
Mocking Kate’s personal life, the troll wrote: “Aunty Kate, I heard someone say that you’re just a bitter old ‘agbaya’ woman because you’ve been let down by men too many times and ended up ‘husbandless’. Is that true?”
In her reply, the Blood Sisters star acknowledged her past but emphasized that she had grown stronger through the experience.
“Awwww, I am still here, though. These things happen, and I am better not bitter,” she replied.
She also took a shot at the troll’s family, saying: “Can’t say the same for the females in your family. I saw one at Farmcity the other night. I hope the pay she brought home fed the family for the night, though. I am good, to be honest. Next…..”
Sammie Okposo, known for gospel hits like Wellu Wellu, passed away in his sleep on November 25, 2022, at age 51. His death came just months after publicly admitting to infidelity, leaving many fans and industry colleagues stunned.
