The family of Mrs. Busayo John-Paul, sister to former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, is still waiting for any communication from the a.bductors of her and her twin sons.
The v!ctims 12-year-old boys identified as Peter and Paul were reportedly taken on Wednesday, June 3, in the Challenge area of Ibadan South West Local Government Area, Oyo State, by unidentified arm£d men.
Speaking on the development, an aide to Adelabu, Femi Awogboro, confirmed that there has been no contact from the kidnappers since the incident occurred.
“We are still searching, security agencies are still on it and they have promised safe return of the victims. Since yesterday, the family is unsettled, the victim’s husband, who is not in Nigeria, is not happy at all, but he said he believes that security agencies in Nigeria are capable of securing release of his wife and children.”
Awogboro also urged security operatives to intensify efforts to ensure the safe rescue of the abducted mother and her children, as the search operation continues across the area.
