A touching moment occurred at the Royal Variety Performance when King Charles graciously received a flower bouquet on behalf of Queen Camilla from two young presenters, eight-year-old Iris King-Taylor and ten-year-old Louie Cooper.
The flowers, specially picked from the gardens of Brinsworth House, the Royal Variety Charity’s care home in Twickenham, were chosen to match those carried by Camilla on her wedding day.

Queen Camilla, 77, was unable to attend the event due to ongoing recovery from a chest infection.
Sources indicated that while she is improving, she’s still experiencing “lingering post-viral symptoms.”
Following medical advice not to “overstretch” herself, particularly given the event’s length and late timing, she made the prudent decision to stay home.

Palace sources assured there was no serious concern, describing her condition as “a nasty bug that apparently is going around a bit.”
The Queen is expected to remain in London until Saturday before proceeding with her planned trip to Sandringham for the week.
