The King has faced more questions about his disgraced brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor during a day of engagements today
Charles arrived at Clitheroe station in Lancashire this morning to visit the town when a member of the public heckled him and shouted a question about the former prince.
The monarch was meeting well-wishers after arriving by train when a man shouted: “How long have you known about Andrew?” The rest of the crowd booed after the question was asked.
Other people wore Union flag hats to greet the King, and one brought a Corgi puppy to meet him. The crowd cheered as Charles waved goodbye before getting into a car.
The King’s away day comes just hours after Kensington Palace said the Prince and Princess of Wales have been “deeply concerned” by the ongoing revelations from the Jeffrey Epstein scandal involving Andrew.
