Korra Obidi has been left frustrated after missing her Lagos-bound flight while waiting at the airport
Taking to social media to express her frustration, the dancer said she was already seated near the boarding gate after spending hours at the airport when she fell asleep. By the time she woke up, the flight had already departed.
She accused them of not calling out her name, atleast to get her attention but they just left.
She said:
“This has to be the worst flight experience I have ever had in my life. Everything was going great until I was sitting at the boarding gate and I didn’t even know they were boarding Lagos. I was just sleeping.
”I opened my eyes and my flight had left. They didn’t even announce anything. They didn’t say anything. Now I have to pay $500 to buy another transit flight to Lagos.”
After getting another ticket, Korra said she wanted to go back inside and wait for her flight but was told she could not enter yet because it was still too early.
“I have bought the flight now and want to go inside and wait for my flight. They’re telling me I cannot go inside because it’s too early to board since my flight is at midnight.
”Take note, I had already been waiting for eight hours. The flight I missed, I waited eight hours for it, and then I slept off and missed it.
”I was sitting right in front of the gate. They didn’t even call, ‘Passenger this or We’re calling passenger this and that” Nothing like that. They just left me there”, she lamented.
