Korra Obidi has made significant progress in her fundraising efforts, raising almost $50,000 in less than 48 hours through a GoFundMe account
The funds are intended to cover legal fees as she prepares to face her ex-husband, Justin Dean, in an upcoming court case.
The dispute began when Justin obtained image rights protection from Meta, forcing Korra to remove videos featuring their children from Facebook and resulting in her page being demonetized.
In response, Korra created a GoFundMe account with a goal of raising $100,000 to fight the decision in court.
So far, she has received an outpouring of support, with $49,346 already donated and counting.
Justin Dean had previously admitted to contacting Facebook to prevent their children from appearing on the platform.
Korra’s successful fundraising efforts demonstrate the strong support she has received from her community.
