Kristin Chenoweth says she’s ‘praying’ for Diddy amid s3x trafficking case

Kristin Chenoweth had a surprising reaction when asked about the serious sex trafficking case involving Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The 56-year-old actress told TMZ in New York City on Monday that she was “still praying” for the 55-year-old hip-hop star, who is currently in custody in New York on charges related to trafficking and racketeering.

“It’s bad – it’s really bad,” said the Broadway actress from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, when discussing the allegations against Combs.

She made the remarks while being ushered away by an assistant after signing autographs.

On May 17, Chenoweth had posted on X/Twitter, expressing her faith after viewing a March 5, 2016, video aired on CNN, which showed Combs physically assaulting his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.

She called the situation “heartbreaking,” adding that she “used to love” Combs and later shared that it brought back memories of her own past experiences with abuse.

In a follow-up tweet, Chenoweth wrote, “Honestly i have my reasons for the Sean Combs video bothering me so much. The main thing i need to do is pray for him. For real.”

Chenoweth engaged with some of her followers who disagreed with her perspective, commending some for their “grown up tweets.”

She added that she was also praying for Combs’ family and noted that “only God can forgive him.”
