Former presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has held a private meeting with Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, in Ibadan
The closed-door session took place at the Oyo State Secretariat, though neither camp disclosed details of their conversation.
Political watchers believe the engagement may not be unconnected to early alignments ahead of the 2027 general elections, especially considering Kwankwaso’s recent movements on the political scene and Makinde’s growing influence at the national level.
