Hilda Dokubo, a Nollywood actress and member of the Labour Party (LP) in Rivers State, has been suspended from her position as chairperson of the LP in the state

The suspension was announced after an emergency meeting of the party’s ward executive committee and was ratified by the Asari Toru LGA executives of LP.
Hilda Dokubo faces allegations of financial misconduct, abuse of office, and breach of party regulations, among other charges.

The suspension was communicated in a letter signed by ward executives, including the chairman, secretary, treasurer, women leader, and publicity secretary.
