Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke has declared a three-day mourning for the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja
The State government also directed that flags should be flown at half mast in the state during the same period,
Osun Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, disclosed this in a statement today.
He added that condolence registers has also been opened at the government house and Governor’s office for the condolence messages of the people of Osun.
The Nigerian presidency had in a statement on Wednesday morning announced the de.ath of the Chief of Army Staff.
According to the statement, the 56-year-old d!ed on Tuesday at an undisclosed hospital in Lagos.
