The Lagos State enforcement team on Monday dislodged illegal street traders at 2nd Rainbow Junction, inward Mile 2.
The demolition is part of efforts to restore order on major roads.
The State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, shared a video of the operation on X today.
“Our enforcement team is currently dislodging illegal street traders constituting nuisance at 2nd Rainbow Junction, inward Mile 2. These activities obstruct traffic flow, endanger pedestrians, and litter the environment,” Wahab said.
According to him, the state government would not relent in its mission to ensure a safe and sustainable urban environment.
