American fitness influencer and content creator Ashton Hall has compared Lagos to Miami, describing Nigeria’s commercial capital as “an African version of Miami” after completing his recent tour of the continent
Hall revealed this during an interview streamed on his Kick account on Sunday, where he revealed that Nigeria was his favourite destination among all the African countries he visited.
“Lagos, Nigeria feels like an African version of Miami. I stayed in Lagos when I was in Nigeria. Their culture, food, I mean I like all of them. Africa is fire,” Hall said.
The social media personality praised Nigeria’s vibrant culture, hospitality and cuisine, saying the country left the biggest impression on him throughout his African tour.
Despite his admiration for Nigeria, Hall said he would rather visit regularly than relocate permanently.
“I would definitely come back from time to time, but I don’t think I would live there,” he added.
Hall’s visit to Lagos generated excitement, with fans, celebrities and fellow content creators welcoming him during his stay.
He also met music executive Don Jazzy and collaborated with some of Nigeria’s leading streamers and digital creators, with the content attracting millions of views across social media platforms.
Before arriving in Nigeria, Hall visited South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Ghana, sharing videos of local cuisine, tourist attractions, fitness activities and cultural experiences throughout his journey.
