Actress Laide Bakare has set the record straight after being accused of mocking her colleague, Biola Bayo over her failed marriage
The controversy arose after Bakare posted a dance video on social media with a seemingly cryptic message that some interpreted as insensitive.
The caption reads: “All of us will eat breakfast. Asiko lo ma ya to. Good morning people,”
However, Bakare has come forward to deny any wrongdoing, stating it was just a coincidence and expressing her support for Biola.
She attributed the negative reactions to “bad commenters and trolls” and wished Biola well, describing her as “my own sister.”
Her words;
“Bad commenters and trolls associations, something must be wrong with you.
“Please let us all be guided. It is still June 5th here in California to be precise. I can never shade my own sister Biola Bayo. My prayers are with you. I didn’t get any updates. I was busy with my daughter’s graduation. Trolls are evil.”
