Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) have impounded 78 containerised trucks around the Apapa and Ijora area of the State
The enforcement operation was led by the General Manager, LASTMA, Bakare Oki in conjunction with relevant security agencies to ensure smooth and seamless traffic for Lagosians during this festive season and beyond.
The Trucks were impounded early Sunday morning on top of High Bridge by Lilly Pond inward Apapa and Sifax axis of Ijora (Olopa).
A statement issued by the Director of Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of LASTMA, Adebayo Taofiq, said the early Sunday morning enforcement operation lasted between 12 a.m. and 7 a.m.
