Lagos State University, LASU, has lost his former Vice Chancellor, Professor Lateef Akanni Hussein.
According to a statement on the official LASU page on Facebook on Monday, Hussein died after a brief illness on Sunday, 31st July, 2022.
He was 75.
Prof. Hussein, a professor of Physics was the sixth Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University.
He served between 2005 and 2011.
He will be buried today according to Islamic rites.

This man made people drop out of LASU. He came from UI to LASU to become VC and increased the school fees, a lot of people cried and stopped school
