One of three suspects linked to the investigation into Liam Payne’s death, Argentine waiter Braian Nahuel Paiz, has publicly denied wrongdoing and shared details about his relationship with the singer.
Braian, 24, identified as Liam’s “dealer” in an ongoing investigation, admitted to meeting the singer twice before his fatal fall on October 16 and to using drugs with him.
However, he insists he never provided drugs to Liam or took any money from him.
Speaking on Argentine TV on Saturday, Braian recounted meeting Liam for the first time at the restaurant where he worked, while Liam was dining with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, and two other people.

He claimed Liam later contacted him through a private Instagram account, and while authorities have searched Braian’s home, he has not yet been formally questioned.
“I never supplied Liam with drugs,” Braian stated, describing their initial meeting at the restaurant.
“We swapped details and saw each other later that night. It was all normal.”
Braian shared that during their first meeting, Liam appeared to already be under the influence and did not eat.
Braian says they met a second time, spending the night together while Liam used cocaine and Braian smoked marijuana. “We took drugs together, but I never took drugs to him or accepted any money,” he said.
One of three individuals under investigation, Braian mentioned he does not know the identities of the other suspects.
Reflecting on the scene in Liam’s hotel room after his death, he expressed confusion over items found there, such as a Dove soap packet, candles, and a glass of water, which he did not understand the purpose of.
