Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has reignited her feud with gospel singer Tope Alabi, accusing her of unprofessional behavior over her refusal to perform at her birthday celebration
The drama began when Lizzy’s fans reportedly paid Tope Alabi N4 million for a surprise appearance, which the singer later declined.
In a new video, Lizzy Anjorin shared a receipt of the alleged payment and expressed disappointment, claiming Tope Alabi backed out upon realizing she was the celebrant. “Aunty Tope, my fans paid you N4 million and I have the evidence with me,” she said, questioning the singer’s professionalism.
Lizzy Anjorin also highlighted her past loyalty to Tope Alabi during controversies, including her fallout with Prophet Ajanaku, and accused the singer of hypocrisy.
The video has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with fans divided over whether Tope Alabi breached professional conduct.
“Aunty Tope, my fans paid you ₦4 million and I have the evidence with me. Even if you were paid ₦500k, were you not an actress before? In acting, we were taught that if you are to kiss your enemy on a movie set, you must do it,” she said.
“When the world rejected you, I stood by you. I even play your songs not because I need them, but to support you. No matter how terrible you think I am, I’m not as bad as Prophet Ajanaku,” she added.
“You saw the goodness of God in my life when you were outside my place. You called me your sister. No matter how much they paid you, you should not have reacted that way. If you judge me, you are not God.”
