Nigerian actress Lizzy Anjorin has responded to allegations of an affair with Kolawole Ajeyemi, the husband of fellow actress Toyin Abraham.
The rumors were spread by controversial blogger Esther Aboderin, also known as Esabod, who suggested that Lizzy was romantically involved with Ajeyemi.
In a viral Instagram video, Lizzy firmly denied the allegations, labeling them as “evil” and urging the public to disregard the rumors. She stated, “Regarding the rumors about Toyin and Kolawole’s marriage facing issues, I am not concerned. Whatever happens is their problem, and it doesn’t affect my life. Anyone who wants to do evil should go ahead, but please ignore all this misinformation.”
This denial comes against the backdrop of a past conflict between Lizzy and Toyin in 2019. The feud began when Lizzy was reportedly questioned by Saudi Arabian authorities on suspicions of drug trafficking during her Hajj pilgrimage. Lizzy accused Toyin of leaking the story to the media, which Toyin denied, leading to a widely publicized dispute between the two actresses.
