Barely 24 hours after getting married, some local residents together
with members from the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) marched down to Prophet
Penuel Mnguni’s church where they pulled
down the tent covering the church and burned it down. According to reports they
went there to demand to see the 24-year old pastor who had only recently fed
his congregation members with grass, gave them petrol to drink and very
recently, asked them to eat tiny snakes. The man was not on ground, but they
met one of his ‘church’ members who sensed danger and started preaching to
them. His preaching however made them upset, as they took down the tent and
burned the church.
