Love Island star Theo Campbell has revealed he has been blinded in one after being struck by a champagne cork in a freak accident.
“(Two) eye surgeries later after a really unfortunate accident, I’ve lost all vision in my right eye as it got split in half,” Campbell, 28, wrote on Instagram. “Who would have thought a champagne cork would be the end of me.”
Campbell shared a picture of himself lying in a hospital bed, a bandage covering his injured eye. He’s accompanied by girlfriend Kaz Crossley.
“I still have 1 eye left, looking at the bright side of things,” he continued, making light of the situation: “If anyone knows where sells cool eye patches let me know.”
