Madonna’s Daughter Lourdes REFUSED Entry To Marc Jacobs Show
Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon suffered every celebrities worst nightmare as she was refused entry to a star-studded bash on Thursday night.
The 26-year-old daughter of the Queen of Pop was turned away from the Marc Jacobs fashion show, after guests including Blondie and models Ashley Graham and Emily Ratajkowski sauntered straight in.
Lourdes – who was named the new face of Marc Jacobs in 2021 – was seen pleading with security guards on the door for over a minute as she tried to talk her way in.
In a TikTok video posted by user @mickmicknyc, that has since gone viral, with bystanders yelling: “Don’t you know who she is?”
Another pipes up: “It’s Madonna’s daughter!” adding: “She’s the doll!” before the crowd started chanting: “Let her in!”
But despite fans’ support – with some even threatening to boycott Marc Jacobs if Lourdes wasn’t allowed in after showing up three hours late – security guards insisted the doors were now closed.
One doorman is heard saying “It’s out of our hands” in the clip, which has already been viewed nearly one million times.
A humiliated Lourdes, who wore a double denim bustier and skirt with matching bag which she paired with knee high cream boots for the occasion, was eventually forced to give up.
She covered her face with her hand as she left the event with a pal and sloped off into the cold New York night.
Although Lourdes, who likes to go by the name Lola, was no doubt embarrassed by the snub, she refuses to be called a ‘nepo baby’.
Speaking to Debi Mazar for Interview magazine in 2021, the model and singer revealed her famous mum refuses to give her kids handouts – despite being worth over £700 million.
Sharing she had paid for her own university fees and apartment, Lourdes said: “We don’t get any handouts in my family.
Obviously, I grew up with extreme privilege. There’s no denying that.
“I think my mom saw all these other kids of famous people, and she was like, ‘My kids are not going to be like this.’”
Branding Madonna a “control freak”, she added: “I needed to be completely independent from her as soon as I graduated high school.”
Celebs who did make it into last night’s Marc Jacobs Fall 2023 Ready-to-Wear show on time included Blondie singer Debbie Harry, heiress Nicky Hilton and models Ashley Graham and Emily Ratajkowski.
