Four individuals had to be swiftly removed from the courtroom as they struggled to stand, writhing in pain and emitting distressing sounds.
These individuals were arrested during the nationwide protests held from August 1 to 10, which were sparked by escalating economic hardship, prompting many Nigerians to voice their frustrations.
The detained protesters, arrested in cities including Abuja, Kaduna, Gombe, Jos, Katsina, and Kano, face charges including treason, among other offenses.
