Antoine Semenyo is set to have a medical with Manchester City on Thursday ahead of his £65m move
Formal steps are expected to progress after Bournemouth have played Tottenham on Wednesday night, live on Sky Sports.
Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola confirmed on Tuesday that Semenyo will play in that game, but he also conceded it could be his last for the club.
Sky Sports News expects that to be the case, with everything agreed in principle for him to join Man City for £65m via a release clause, which expires on Friday.
Championship club Bristol City are due 20 per cent of any profit made on Semenyo, having left to join Bournemouth in January 2023 for around £10m.
Man City were the only club to contact Bournemouth about Semenyo’s release clause despite interest from Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea before Christmas.
