A man has d!ed in Adamawa State after he was sta-bbed by his younger brother over a N200 piece of meat
The man, Friday Murya, was dealt the deadly knife cut after his butcher brother, Monday Murya, got infuriated during a quarrel over the N200 meat.
Monday also stabbed another of his elder brothers, Sinairu, who sought to separate the fight, and Sinairu is said TO be receiving treatment at Dumne Cottage Hospital in Song LGA.
The incident occurred at Waltadi community in Dunme on Sunday 9th March, 2025, when the fatal quarrel ensued between Monday and Friday after Friday took a N200 piece of meat without paying for it.
Witnesses said that Monday demanded for his money only for Friday to keep dragging him, resulting into the fight during which Monday used a knife and sta-bbed Friday.
Friday who was rushed to the Modibbo Adama Teaching Hospital Yola, d!ed there.
The Adamawa State Police Command is yet to react to the incident by the time of filing this report Tuesday morning.
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, said he has not been briefed on the incident.
