In a statement ahead of the new season, Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has warned fans to expect a more daring approach from him
Onana, signed by manager Erik ten Hag last summer to replace David De Gea, has pledged to take more risks, including playing more aggressively and moving out of his penalty area.
Despite a shaky start last season, Onana quickly adapted and played in nearly all of United’s 54 games.
He believes that taking risks is key to success, saying:
“I can tel you in advance already! Be prepared because it’s going be (like that) this season, trust me! I will enjoy it even more when this season starts.
“The best team in the world takes risks. Building from the back, recognizing things, situations, when the opponent jumps one against one or when they press with three or with four.”
