Margot Robbie has revealed the reasoning behind her decision to perform a full-frontal nude scene in “The Wolf of Wall Street,” emphasizing her commitment to character authenticity.
The 34-year-old actress shared that director Martin Scorsese initially offered her the option of wearing a robe for her comfort.
Scorsese suggested, “Maybe you can be wearing a robe if you’re not comfortable.”
However, Robbie firmly responded: “That’s not what she would do in that scene. The whole point is that she’s going to come out completely naked—that’s the card she’s playing.”
During an interview on the Talking Pictures podcast, Robbie also disclosed that securing the role of Naomi Lapaglia was a challenging process, requiring multiple audition attempts.
