Robert Cosby Jr., the 23-year-old son of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Mary Cosby, has d!ed.
The family confirmed the heartbreaking news to TMZ, saying:
“Our beloved son Robert Jr. has been called home to the Lord.
Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God’s promise and in knowing he is finally at peace.
We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow.”
Authorities in Salt Lake City responded Monday night to a reported “full arrest/medical emergency”
involving a 23-year-old male. Fire crews and paramedics were dispatched to the scene.
Police say the call was initially treated as a possible overdose. Upon arrival, the situation shifted into a death investigation.
Officials in Utah have not yet confirmed an official cause of death.
The loss comes just a few months after Robert’s wife, Alexiana Smokoff, filed for divorce.
Mary Cosby and her husband are now leaning on faith as they grieve the unimaginable loss of their son, asking for prayers as the investigation continues.
