Mary Gold, the manager of comedian Ijoba Lande, has publicly begged for his forgiveness over her involvement in his marital crisis
She admitted to taking Lande’s wife, Darasimi, to the house of actor Baba Tee without informing him and also allowing Darasimi and her alleged boyfriend to treat an infection in her home.
“I am pleading to Lande to forgive me for taking his wife to Baba Tee’s house and also for allowing her and her boyfriend to treat infection in my house. I want Nigerians to beg him for me. I also want to apologize to Baba Tee for taking Lande’s wife to his house without informing him, but at the same time, my spirit is not happy with him because he lied against me. But I understand he was trying to cover himself,” she said.
Her plea comes amid the ongoing scandal involving Ijoba Lande, his wife Darasimi, and Baba Tee. Lande had accused his wife of infidelity, which initially Baba Tee denied but later admitted to, claiming their encounter happened under the influence during a “Truth or Dare” game.
However, Darasimi has denied any sexual relationship with him, insisting that she only sat on his lap during the game.
In response to the controversy, Lande has stated that he is willing to forgive his wife and Baba Tee but will not reconcile with Darasimi, saying he is doing so for his own peace of mind.
