The Manchester United forward has been named in Jamaica’s 27-man provisional squad for the 2024 Copa America, signaling a potential switch in allegiance.
Greenwood’s eligibility to play for Jamaica comes through his father’s heritage, and he’s been persuaded by Jamaican Football Federation officials, including manager Steve McClaren, to represent the Caribbean nation.
This development comes after a four-year absence from the England national team, following his debut in 2020.
