Manchester City and Portuguese international midfielder Matheus Nunes, 26, was reportedly arrested in Madrid on suspicion of theft

According to Spanish daily El Mundo and Dailymail, Nunes was detained at La Riviera nightclub around 5:30 a.m. on September 8.
A 58-year-old man alleged Nunes took his mobile phone without permission in the restroom. The man had attempted to photograph Nunes.
Nunes, born in Brazil, allegedly kept the phone, prompting the man to call the police. Officers found the phone in Nunes’ possession, leading to his arrest.
Nunes was taken to a local police station for questioning. No official statement has been released by Manchester City or Nunes’ representatives.
