Legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan, previously reported to have died from a heart attack on July 24, 2025, may have been a victim of medical malpractice, TMZ has reported
Police sources and family members allege that an occupational therapist at Hogan’s Clearwater, Florida, home claimed a surgeon may have severed his phrenic nerve—a vital nerve that controls breathing—during a recent procedure.
Hogan’s widow, Sky Daily, told TMZ Sports, “His phrenic nerve was compromised during one of his recent surgeries.”
She confirmed that an autopsy has been conducted but declined to share the results, adding, “I’m not at liberty to release those details at this time,” and noting that Hogan’s body has not yet been cremated.
Hogan’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, has also questioned the official account of her father’s death. In an Instagram post, she said she received calls from professionals, including police officials and nurses, urging her to review body cam footage and 911 tapes that could potentially shed new light on the circumstances of his passing. She added, “I have zero control over these records. It’s all up to my dad’s wife, Sky Daily.”
Authorities in Clearwater have not issued a statement regarding the allegations or the outcome of their investigation, but the new claims have intensified scrutiny over the events surrounding Hogan’s death and sparked calls for greater transparency.
