Megan Fox shed light on her postpartum journey on Saturday, seven months after welcoming her fourth child
The 39-year-old actress welcomed a daughter named Saga Blade, her first child with music artist Machine Gun Kelly, 35, this past spring.
During a screening of her 2009 horror/comedy Jennifer’s Body at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, she spoke openly about the mental haze giving birth has left her with.
‘First of all, I just want to say I just had a baby, and I have a lot of brain fog,’ she said while speaking on a panel.
She added, ‘I haven’t slept in seven months. So if I repeat myself, I’m sorry. Just interrupt me and tell me I’m off track.’
Megan said she found her character’s metamorphosis into a monster relatable.
‘There’s something about that, whether it’s perceived or not,’ she stated. ‘I felt like I was persecuted at that time in my career, and I was struggling a lot with fame and kind of traumatized by fame.’
The Hollywood bombshell elaborated, ‘I resonated with those deeper layers of before she becomes a monster, she’s a teenage girl that gets sacrificed for somebody else’s gain.
‘And that very much resonated because that’s kind of how I came into this industry.’
The movie star paid homage to the film with a statement-making corseted nude-toned dress with beaded red accents made to resemble dripping blood.
Its ruched tulle skirt boasted a thigh-high slit and she rounded out the ensemble with open-toe heels with perspex straps.
She put on a busty display in the figure-accentuating outfit, which she complemented with a red choker necklace.
In addition to her baby girl, Megan is also mom to sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, nine, with ex-husband Brian Austin Greene.
Meanwhile, MGK — real name Colson Baker — welcomed daughter Casie, 16, with ex Emma Cannon in 2009.
