Meghan all smiles as she enjoys girls’ day out with friend
Meghan Markle was seen out with a close friend as she enjoyed a girls’ day out without husband Prince Harry and the kids.
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, was spotted shopping with her pal Kelly McKee Zajfen, and the pair were seen chatting and laughing as they exited Montecito restaurant Pane e Vino for a bite to eat. The women had their arms around each other and Kelly even had a bag full of leftovers, as the duo were clearly on a mission to spend some quality time together.
It comes after an apparent snub by King Charles in his birthday message on Tuesday. Meghan, along with Kate Middleton and Charles’ grandchildren weren’t included in an image montage to mark the monarch’s 75th birthday
Meghan and Kelly then headed to luxury boutique Wendy Foster, accompanied by the former Suits star’s burly bodyguard, and it’s clear the womenswear shop is favoured by the Duchess, as she was seen there last month.
The former senior royal, who shares children Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 2, with Harry, beamed as she walked around in the Californian sunshine, and even found a way to incorporate her husband’s dedication to the Armed Forces in a sweet gesture. Dressed in a pair of cream shorts and a black sweater, a poppy brooch, in honour of British veterans, was pinned to her top.
She finished off her chic look with a pair of large sunglasses, and a black and white striped shoulder bag, with her hair pulled back into a loose ponytail. The women finished their girls’ day out as they were escorted to Meghan’s Range Rover, with her security guard close by.
