Meghan Markle follows royal tradition by dressing Archie in stripy dungarees just – like Prince Harry, Prince George and Prince Louis

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex took their son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor on his first official engagement today – opting to dress him in a pair of adorable striped dungarees in line with royal tradition.

Meghan Markle, 38, and Prince Harry, 35, were seen beaming as they took four-month-old Archie to meet Archbishop Desmond Tutu at the Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation in Cape Town.

The little boy was dressed in a pair of blue dungarees and a white bodysuit by H&M, costing just £14.99, and little socks by Bon Point at £13.

The seventh-in-line to the throne looked the spitting image of dad Harry, who was seen in similar dungarees in 1985 with mum, Princess Diana.

And the outfit appears to be a popular choice with the royals, with Archie’s cousins Prince George, now six, and Prince Louis, one, both previously seen in £39.99 red striped dungarees by Spanish brand Neck & Neck.
