Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has ignited a heated online conversation after reacting to body shaming and cosmetic surgery
Speaking in a video shared on her page, , the actress hypocrisy of some men when it comes to body positivity.

She pointed out that women are now being told to “love themselves the way they are” after years of ridicule over their appearance.
Her comments come in the wake of the death of Lagos socialite Jessica, who reportedly passed away following complications from a second BBL surgery.
Nkechi Blessing noted that constant insults and societal pressures, particularly on social media, have pushed many women to pursue cosmetic procedures to meet unrealistic beauty standards.
She highlighted that those who once criticised women’s bodies are now often the ones promoting self-acceptance, a contradiction she believes has fueled the rise in body enhancement surgeries.
The actress stressed that personal choices regarding one’s body deserve respect. She also vowed not to let criticism or online abuse influence her own decisions about her appearance, emphasizing that her body reflects her hard work and achievements.
While affirming that every woman has the right to make her own choices, Nkechi Blessing revealed that the only procedure she might consider in the future is surgery for weight loss, underlining her comfort and confidence in her current physique.
