Mercy Chinwo, a gospel music artist, and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, have established a scholarship program through their foundation, Mercyisblessed
They announced the awarding of full scholarships to 100 undergraduate students at the University of Calabar on July 12, 2024.
The scholarships will cover all school fees and provide additional support to ensure academic stability for students facing financial challenges.
Mercy Chinwo expressed her gratitude to the community, stating that this initiative is a way of giving back and inspiring students to pursue their dreams.
The scholarship is effective immediately, and eligible candidates will be communicated through the appropriate channels.
Prior to this, Mercy Chinwo had also awarded scholarships to 50 students at the University of Port Harcourt in April.
