Popular Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson Okojie has addressed her main rival, Angela Okorie, who has been publicly criticizing her.
Angela reignited her attacks after Mercy celebrated her 40th birthday, and Regina Daniels shared a heartfelt message for her. Despite being on good terms with Regina Daniels, Angela criticized her for marrying an older man.
Angela Okorie also highlighted a comment from a netizen who pointed out that Mercy Johnson’s birthday didn’t receive much attention, despite her reputation as one of Nigeria’s best actresses. Angela mocked Mercy, claiming that the attention she received was fake and that no one genuinely loves her.
She further alleged that even with Mercy Johnson’s use of voodoo, she hasn’t reached the top of her career, saying, “Ani, no mind those eye serviced people, upon the Jazz wey dem dey do dem no still blow.”
In response, Mercy Johnson posted a video on her Facebook page, showing her and her children enjoying time at a park, indirectly addressing Angela’s comments.
She wrote: “God helped me and made my life meaningful… I don’t have time to monitor or know anybody’s birthday date… wether e trend or not. Stagnant fools.”
