Nollywood star Mercy Johnson-Okojie has opted to discontinue the defamation suit she instituted against TikTok personality Eedie Bliss
Eedie Bliss, who had been taken into custody over allegations she made concerning the actress’ husband and family, was later released following widespread public criticism.

The development was confirmed on Saturday by social media commentator VeryDarkMan (VDM).
Reacting to the withdrawal of the case, VDM expressed appreciation to the actress, writing: “@MercyJohnsonOkojie, thank you very much, my GREATEST OF ALL TIME, for dropping the case.”
He went further to appeal to the public to stop attacking the actress and her loved ones online, condemning the level of harassment directed at them.
“Moving on, I am buying all defamation cases against Mercy Johnson and her family. The bullying is too much. You all should leave her family alone,” he added.
