Late Tunji Okusanya Daughter in black leading pall bearers
Just few days after his son who also died with him
in the October 3rd plane crash was buried, Late MIC Boss, Tunji Okusanya was yesterday
buried at the Vaults and Garden in Ikoyi. The burial ceremony began with a wake
keeping service on Sunday in GRA, while the funeral service held yesterday morning
at St John’s Anglican Church in Lagos Island before he was finally laid to rest.
What a lot of people still don’t understand is where the crowd that gathered at
his funeral service came from. The church was full to the brim and the street
still wasn’t enough for sympathisers to stay. A lot of them came in black and were
unable to control their tears as songs were rendered in his memory. See a picture of the large crowd outside the church below.
