Miley Cyrus has shown support for Chappell Roan after the singer spoke out about setting boundaries with fans, following a rant about ‘weird’ followers asking for photos.
In August, Roan, 26, criticized fans for ‘harassing’ her and displaying ‘stalking’ behavior, stating that she didn’t care if it made her seem ‘selfish.’
Cyrus, 32, shared that she had reached out to Roan—whose real name is Kayleigh Rose Amstutz—after the video went viral.
Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, Cyrus said, “I wish people would not give her a hard time. It’s probably really hard coming into this business with phones and Instagram. That wasn’t always a part of my life, and I’m not a part of it now.”
She also revealed that she “doesn’t even have my Instagram password.
