“Minimum offering I give on sundays is $12,000” – Pastor Ibiyeomie’s giving statement raises eyebrows

The General Overseer of Salvation Ministries, David Ibiyeomie, has stirred conversation online following his recent remarks on tithing, offerings, and financial prosperity during a church service

According to his message, he emphasized the importance of consistent giving, linking it to spiritual and financial well-being.

He was quoted as saying:

“You Have To Pay Correct Tithe If You Don’t Want Your Life To Be Tight. After Tithe, Give Quality Offerings. The Minimum Offerings I Give On Sundays Is $12,000 And The Minimum I Give On Week Days Is $2,000. If You Don’t Give Me Offering I’ll Still Be Stinkingly Rich. Stinginess Is The Gateway To Poverty And Giving Is The Gateway To Prosperity. Every Poor Man Is Stingy.”

The remarks, which were shared during a sermon at Salvation Ministries, shows his belief that generosity is closely tied to financial abundance.

He also stressed that personal prosperity is not dependent on withholding giving, but rather on a consistent practice of generosity.

The statement has since generated mixed reactions across the internet, with some agreeing with his teachings on giving, while others debate the emphasis placed on fixed monetary amounts for offerings.
